Do body vibration fitness machines really work?

Do you own one and what have been your experience and results? Any comments would be much appreciated.

  1. Aw, c'mon! If it were that easy, don't you think we'd all be a size 2 by now?
  2. http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/techinnovations/2007-05-29-fitness-vibration-machines_N.htm That article's topic covers vibration fitness. I've not seen any credible studies that have proven vibration plates to be beneficial. I think it is a gimmick, but I haven't done enough research on it yet.
  3. The top 2 answers are right. Those machines do not work.
  4. I tried one in a gym I do not really believe they are good for you on a daily basis. Besides the fact you get nauseated I had a headache for several days.
